The International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo is pleased to be able offer interested attendees an opportunity to tour an operational ethanol production facility. Attendees unfamiliar with the major components of an operational ethanol plant will appreciate this tour with an emphasis on the basics of ethanol production. Additionally, attendees interested in learning about the re-investment into the facility that POET made upon acquiring this plant are invited to attend.

POET Biorefining, Cloverdale
Purchased by POET in the summer of 2010, POET Biorefining – Cloverdale formerly Altra Biofuels, underwent an extensive $30 million facility upgrade and was brought back online in March of 2011. The upgrades included POET’s BPX fermentation process, a water recovery system and new pollution control equipment.
*Attendees are urged to not book flights earlier than 2:30 pm on the day of the tour.
